Rulings
- Your other Souls have Defiance only while Harold is himself a valid Attack Target: active and in the Front Line. Whether a Taunt protects him makes no difference.
- The Defiance counts as a rank-1 effect, because Harold grants it. An Unyielding attacker of rank 1 or higher takes no damage from it (13.2.2).
- A Soul that already has Defiance deals both amounts (13.4.1). The granted Defiance is not Harold's own: Harold himself has no Defiance.
